Coming into 2005 we are asking the men to recognize “simplicity” as the way to go. It always works. A simple “Hi, can I speak with you for moment or two”? “Hello my name is and yours”, is always a good start as well. Just remember simplicity wins the attention.

Women simply want to be treated as queens and respected as such; these types of values can take you a long way when it comes to approaching a woman. Guys remember these are rules of thumb for approaching a woman. Any other type of female, this may not work for.

Now a day there are only a few “meeting spots”, meaning places specifically designed for meeting the opposite sex. Church's, clubs, parties and a few local events completes the list. Of course, you could simply be in a store or out and about and anyone can come a calling, however, gentlemen is the keyword and “pissssss” “lil momma”, “hey black”, “hey red” or “what's up shorty” doesn't constitute as a gentlemen's hello.

Depending on which nightclub you attend, you can meet a gentleman. Jacksonville has a number of nightclubs to choose from. You can easily categorize them. Without calling names, we have the clubs for the thugs, the polished thugs, the upscale men and the black men looking for white girls club. Deciding on what type of girl you are and what type of man you want to meet, will lead you to the club of your desire. Fair warning all types of men can be found in different environments, for example you can find a gentlemen in the club with thugs and you can find a polished thug in an upscale jazz spot.

It seems as if the young ladies are confused as to what they should be looking for, when it comes to a man or gentlemen. The music that is being pumped through our radio stations and the videos on our television have contributed a lot to our confusion. In a club or out and about, “hey, lil momma”, “hey Red”, “what's up shorty” gets the young girls eyes wide due to this confusion that being called out of your name is a good thang. Lets fade this confusion to black and ask more of our men when it comes to getting our attention, lets require work, work, work and more work. They can call us almost anything whether in a club or not and we respond in a positive manner. So lets remember the word for the ladies in 2005, is work, we're requiring more work. And the word for the Men in 2005, is simplicity, simply keep it real.
